SEVEN SQUARES ON A PIN BOARD I CANT GET IT

Hi there,here is you answer,enjoy
There are 6 lines of pins
On each line they are in different positions
So for this occasion we are gonna number these from 1-28,from left to right then from top to bottom
We will give each square a colour and a number
1*Large blue square join the 4 corners at pins 8 to 16 to 23 to 28
2*Large yellow square join at pins 4 to 12 to 21 to 27
3*Small red square join at pins 17 to 22 to 24 to 26
4*Small brown square join at pins 14 to 18 to 20 to 25
5*Small light blue square join at pins 5 to 9 to 11 to 15
6*Small white square join at pins 1 to 2 to 6 to 7
7*Medium white square join at pins 3 to 10 to 13 to 18

Hope this helps its the easiest way i think i can describe it

I need help

This is perhaps the most commonly asked about puzzle on FixYa

The hints give you the location of three of the seven squares and mention that all but one square is at an angle

The hints also give you both the size and angle of two more squares

As an added hint, none of the three small angled squares overlap each other (there's almost no choice on where to put these with this information)

You should now have five squares in place, leaving just two squares to place over eight pins

Remember that each pin can only be used one and that all pins must be used

You can find a picture of the entire solution here if you need it http://professorlaytonwalkthrough.blogspot.com/2008/02/puzzle100.html
