My htc touch earpiece stopped working i can use speaker phone and blue tooth but earpiece doesn't work.

Sometimes the earpiece plugs up with dirt/dust, which could potentially block enough sound that you can't hear anything through it (my HTC OneX+ is doing this, and I've been using the speaker-phone on it for months now. Someday I'll take it apart and clean it... someday...) You could try removing the casing and other components to get at the speaker and clean it up.
Your phone's earpiece could also be non-functional. I'm not sure about this particular model, but as with many HTC phones, the little earpiece speaker can usually be replaced. The hard part is actually getting to it...

Had one just like i t with same problem. I used a blu-tooth earpiece till i found resolve. Its your speakers that are bad. I know it sounds out there, literally, as everything else works,even speaker phone. I took mine in to a cell phone shop and they replaced speakers and it cost me 50.00 to fix it. This is fault on your earpiece and needs to be replaced ip you can remove the panel and confirm if the earpiece has a continuity or if there was any connection issue.
Finally test using a handsfree to confirm that the board is working well and the fault relates only to the earpiece.

The problem why you cannot hear the person you are talking to with the one at the top front(the main earpiece) is that the front earpiece of your phone is bad that is you cannot hear anything unless you put it on speaker.

All you need to do is to replace the front earpiece of your phone and you will see that you will hear when you are talking to anyone.

Change the front earpiece as advice and you see that you will hear your conversation when calling or receiving calls.

Hay hello open your mobile back cover and at upper postion there is a reset button click that button with your stick and leave your mobile for tow ours your blue tooth will be start working

its a hardware problem. try another ear piece if it still don't works go to your vendor and replace the phone

This is how mine goes(with Plantronics PULSAR P590)
1--turn on bluetooth on your phone
2--select hands free
3--select add-(the (phone will start looking for devices)

4--start with earpiece Power OFF
5--then hold call botton and keep it pressed while turning on the device
[the device may flash blue (indicating bluetooth) the phone should then be able to sense the earpiece device and display the device name on the phone screen.]
6-highlight the device on the phone and select [the phone will reply with a pass key code request] enter "0000" end hit select/ok [your earpiece is now added to your phone]
7-your earpiece is now set up. [Ensusure that bluetooth is ON on your phone first] To activate the earpiece in the future turn it on and press the call button. This may help.

my car kit is not even picked up by the htc yet my p910 was working fine. Microsoft does it again - sell you something that they know does not work, yet instead of putting an advisory out they waste my time my petrol going back and forth from supplier to supplier. This is the problem with all the American companies , honesty and integrity is only for the others.
Sorry I am a bit frustrated that I will get a fine which will make my phone even more costly
