Question about Cribs, Cradles & Bassinets
I need to convert the Jardine Madison Life Time 3 in 1 crib from the crib to the day bed, and then to the kids bed. Ive searched for the company website outside of toys r us and have not had any luck.
To convert your crib to a Full Size bed you will need to purchase a set of full size bed rails (hook style for headboard and foot board). You can find this at any discount mattress store, or furniture outlet, it can range in price from $39.99 - $99.99. To install the rails you will see slots with bars on the headboard/footboard, this is where the hooks on the rails slide into. There are no bolts used to secure the rails to the headboard/footboard.
Jardine enterprises does not make a wood rail kit as was shown in some of the earlier ads for the Madison line of convertible cribs, and do not waste your time ordering the rail kit from Babies-R-Us as it is simply a metal rail kit (which you may be able to get cheaper at a local furniture/mattress store).
Use the lower daybed rail between the two front posts for the foot board. Another option for the full-size conversion is to purchase the metal rails (hook style) for a headboard only and not even bother with a foot board.
If you are still unsure of what you need to do for the full-size conversion please feel free to email me at email@example.com.

I have the Jardine Enterprises Jardine Madison convertible crib and had the same problem. I had some parts for footboard missing in order to convert crib to full size bed. I call Jardine Enterprise and got the phone number from Baby's r us. You can also google the recall phone number and they will transfer you. I got the foot board for my brib sent to my house within 1 week for free. my crib was 3 years old. no proof of purchase needed. Now am having a hard time putting it together....lol

Hi I am looking at a used one DA722BC, would you say this set is good quality to buy one used? Also they do not have the conversion kit to make it a full size. I saw online people saying you can get metal rails from store to make this work? I saw you mention the foot board. Is there many pieces I will need to convert the bed to full? Thank You Very Much, firstname.lastname@example.org
