Question about Canon PowerShot S500 IXUS 500 Digital Camera
The image is not clear even before shooting. Colours ar not eight; the forms are not right; everything is confused not focused and far from the reality. I don't think it is a LCD problem, because the bird, when I connect, is clear and right. If I don't use the LCD monitor for looking, but the lens, it is OK; but the picture is allways unfocused, with strange colours and forms. I saw already the lens, but it semms to me clean.
This sounds like a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
