Question about Dell Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Do you keep it on a couch or a soft surface? Make sure the vents are not blocked by anything. It'll shut down if it overheats. If that's not the case, listen to the fan motor make sure it is working and cooling down your CPU. The last thing is your battery, It might be fried and overheating. You may want to remove the battery and run it with only power adapter to see if it stays on. Please let me know how it goes. Good luck :)

JUMP STARTING A BLACKBERRY
1. Plug wall charger into wall and then plug into blackberry
2. Take off back cover and pull the battery out (while it is plugged in still)
3. Wait 30 seconds. The red LED may remain on (tech said it didn't matter).
4. Put the battery back in and wait about 5-10 seconds and it'll begin to boot up (white screen with clock icon).
