On Control Panel-Touch Screen, Down right Side there is a tab to change the languages/Language Setting.
Even if it is Chinese or Portuguese language showing just click on the down right side button on touch screen, a new menu will appear. From there you can select your desired language.English-Chinese etc.
The instruction below will help you put back the display language you desire for your printer. You may use the procedure below to print out reports or to show messages on the all-in-one control panel. Here's how:
1.First you need to press MENU. 2.Then, select SYSTEM SET UP. 3.Afterward, select LANGUAGE. 4.Now, choose the language that you prefer. In your case, ENGLISH. 5.You have to SAVE your settings. 6.Finally, wait until your system automatically restarts.
Press the power button for 4 seconds. That will turn off the printer. Now, press and hold Start and Back button (looping arrow) while turning on the printer by pressing the power button again. Continue to hold the Start and Back buttons for approximately 20 seconds, then release them. That should reset the printer. Choose your preferred language and set time and date.

un-installed & re-installed but still not in English. Any ideas how I can change the language to english please?
folder were created. One of those files was CNMmhya.hlp. When clicking
on it a Help-window with Portuguese text shows up - even though the
code 0409 means English. This is a symptom of the problem. This file
was copied from somewhere in the Windows folder.
To fix this annoying problem, the following worked for me:
-> Unplug the printer
-> Uninstall the driver
-> Rename the following folder with the portuguese language driver
stuff which still remains, even after uninstallation of the driver:
(if you cannot rename it, reboot and try again). You should first check
that there are indeed portuguese help-files in this folder. To do that,
click on one of the .hlp files. If they are not your problem could be a
different one, but it could also be that the files are stored nearby in
the file system.
-> Reinstall the driver with the language of your choice. This time
there won't be Portuguese files blocking proper installation of your
-> Replug the printer to finish the driver installation
Now you should have finally gotten rid of the Portuguese (which may
seem Spanish or Italian to some) text in Printer related windows.
