Question about HP PSC 2210 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I have the all-in-one psc 2210 scanner. Everyting worked fine on my old laptop (XP). Ever since getting new laptop (Vista) the printer works, but can't seem to scan or even access the wizard.
Try oprning up Windows Photo Gallery, then File tab at top, then click on Import from Scanner or Camera.
The HP should come up as an option, so click on it.
I found that with upgrade to Vista, the actual SCAN button on the HP 2210 did not work -- but this back door through Photo Gallery lets me scan and import the scan as a jpg file.

Click over to this page on the HP website and scroll down to the Scanning section, it contains the manual steps for testing the all-in-one's scanning capabilities in Vista.
I don't know the age of that posting but according to them they don't have a full featured driver for your unit under Vista. You may want to check the driver repository for updates.
