I have an error code of 6A00. I dont know what this is and how to correct it

Hello,
AP position error [6A00] means that an error occurred in the AP motor during
purging operation.
The fault part may be:
- Sheet feed unit (QM2-2916)
- Logic board ***'y (QM2-3078)*1
- Purge unit (QM2-2925)

you better contact a tech because it is not that simple to fix if you have no tech expirience.

I have just replaced toner however an AP sign appears now. I have added paper to the tray (as i have no manual I dont know what AP is asking me to do) Can you please help

hi

AP means that the toner in the hopper got so low that you will need to cycle the toner several times.

to do this you will need to open and close the front cover between each cycle to ensure enough toner is in the system

The screen says AP -what does that mean

AP means that the copier is going thru a major toner cycle.
Sometimes when you drag a lot of toner out for dark copies, the normal toner cycle is not enough.
The spring that takes the toner from the cartridge to the dev unit mat also be faulty or broken.
Sometimes the AP message will go away but make sure you have plenty of toner.
