Husqvarna chain saw starts and runs for 20 minutes then stops.

Saw starts fine and cuts for about 20 minutes. Then it starts to sputter and stops. I can restart and idle but won't run when I press accelerator. I have changed the plug, fuel filter and air filter.

I have had the same problem. Mine was vapor lock. If your is vapor lock it probably wouldn't be too easy to start unless you open the fuel cap and let it depressurize. The husqys have a fuel tank vent where the fuel lines enter the tank. It is very possible for these to clog and not vent properly.

My saw acts the same. The carb has been replaced with no change in performance. My saw is the 350 with the 18 inch bar.

Two things could be happening.......first is vapor lock......make sure you breather tube is clear and working........next is ....it could have a bad ignition coil on it.....after the coil gets hot the spark can become irratic or just not work any more.....

Always have to stop to tighten chain

If the cahin is new, then it will stretch for a while. Make sure you have enough oil going onto the chain when cutting, and not to much pressureon the blade when cutting, let the saw do the work. Also, if your chain is dull or blunt, it will get very hot and need frequent adjusting.
Hope this helps you out a bit.

I am having trouble with my husqvarna 61 .after running for about 10 minutes the machine stops revving as if it has run out of petrol, blip the throttle and it picks up again for a few seconds.any ideas?

Check to see if your tank vent is plugged.Fill tank full of fuel and run saw till you start to hear saw having problems, when this happens loosen fuel cap and see if it helps.Loosening the fuel cap will let air back into the tank if your vent is plugged.

Saw cuts in circles

Take it to a local saw shop $10± for 20". It will save you time and headaches. Consider purchase of a spare chain or 2 (about 5 minutes to fabricate with yours as a sample). Ask about a more aggressive chain if you wear PPE while cutting. HTH
