Noisy refrigerator When the motor is running, the refrigerator is very noisy. I thought cleaning the coils underneath would help solve this problem, but it did not lessen the noise.

SOURCE: Hi I have an Australian

could be you need a new compressor but also check the pipework is not vibrating - if so, a bit of careful bending usually does the trick

SOURCE: motor running a lot

9360gabbs,  The significant thing that you list is... it is louder than usual.  You indicate that you have cleaned the coils under refrigerator.  Try and roll the refrigerator out from its normal location so you can get behind it.  Remove the cardboard or metal cover across the bottom area of the refrigerator.  Check and see that the fan next to the compressor is running and that the blades are clean from dust, etc. Sometimes the condenser fan dies and must be replaced sometimes the blades are covered in dust, etc and causes a decreased volume of air to be moved by the fan.  Make sure the entire area is clean from dust, etc.  Be sure to replace the rear cover that was removed.  Very important!  Hopes this helps you! The drain in the freezer behind back lower panel
needs opening. You can see it at the bottom of the back panel
underneath the evaporator coils. (The cold coils)
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
When the defrost melts the water it goes down the drain
If the drain is clogged with Ice or ? The defrost water
overflows into the ref. or freezer
Run Hot water in the drain until it clears or use a hairdryer.
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear

The door frame of the refrigerator gets way too hot. the lady said it burnt her finger it was so hot. its a maytag msb2354grq

It's usually caused by the condenser fan which is underneath around back. If it's not running when the compressor runs it will cause the problem you describe. You will need to remove the cardboard backing on the back of the fridge to access the fan.
Here's how to test the fan.

GE side by side gss23qg gss23qs: Freezer is not working, building up frost, ans is noisy.

If you hear the compressor (underneath the refrigerator) running okay, you need to check around the compressor and see if the compressor fan is turning. If this fan does not turn, heat is not removed from the refrigerant coils as it should be. This greatly lessens the cooling ability of the system.

If this fan is not turning, you will have to replace the fan motor.

Motor runs, but freezer and fridge are warm

The cooling coil/evaporator might not be defrosting.
This could be caused by a defective defrost timer or the defrost heater is not working. Also make sure it is clean underneath the refrigerator and the condenser fan next to the coil in running

My sub-zero 695 motor keeps running, very noisy..

If it is one with the compressor on top . Check the coils up top . You may find that they need cleaning because it sound like it's unable to cool enough to satisfy the thermostat therefore it runs all the time trying to.
