Question about Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer/Dryer
Frigidaire stackable front load washer/dryer combo. Washer not balanced and vibrates excessively, out of level, moves around too much therfore losing efficiency of spinning cycle. Afraid it will damage washer or counter top. It is located on the second floor off of our bedroom above our kitchen on a vinyl floor in a corner that is structurally sound. Floor not level. Unit has one inch side to side distance between outside wall and counter top. Should I just rebalance it using the levelling legs or is there some way of fastening it to the wall or floor or counter to reduce vibration etc...or should it be fastened. Looking for a permanent solution.
Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.
Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.
Replace/repair as necessary.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Mike Brady - From what you have described it seems like the dryer is experiencing a wiring failure or a communication error with the control board. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
