Question about HP Officejet 6310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP Officejet 6310x -when I try to scan it states "no scan option"

I have used this scanner numerous times over the past couple of years and it has always served me well. We took it with us for an interim job and I have not used it to scan since hooking it up at home. Now it shows the "no scan option"...Thank you for any help.

You don't have to re-install, just go to the HP Solution Center - Settings - Scan to Setup - and drag the applicatiosn you want the option to "Scan to", click on OK, and yer ready to go.

I can't seem to scan from my officejet j4540 it states no scan option refer to documentation to troubleshoot. I don't have my manual.


The scan options are in your computer, you need to have HP scan software running before it will scan This tells the scanner how to scan, what it's scanning, and where to send the image and how to save it.

HP Officejet 6500 No scan Options


I am trying to scan, but when I press the scan button it states "No scan options. Refer to device doc to troubleshoot". However, I can't find my device doc. I am assuming there is an easy fix?

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One scanner will not work


Windows Vista causes an error with the scan feature of the HP officejet 5610. To work around it use the paint program:

1. open paint program
2. click file
3. click "from scanner or camera..."
4. scan menu opens

from there simly select the type of scan you would like to do and click the scan button
