Where is the fusible link for my LG dishwasher?

If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work. The thermal fuse is usually located in the control panel on the control board or mounted to the bottom of the tank behind the lower panel. The thermal fuse can be checked for continuity.

No front panel lights Whirlpool GU2500XTPB1. Power to dishwash is good.

Hello,

what most likely is going to be the problem is a blown thermal fuse that attaches to the control panel housing. gain access to the control panel and use should see the thermal fuse, the housing for the control board is grey and this part is white.Remove the wires to it and check for contininity on it (ZERO OHMS) using a ohm meter set to a low ohms setting. If it turns out to be good the next thing to check is the switch(s) on the latch asm using the same method to check them as the fuse.BEFORE CHECKING EITHER OF THOSE BE SURE TO DISCONNECT POWER TO THE DISHWASHER

Have a Whirlpool Quite Partner II DU1145XTPBA 1 1/2 old just stop working no lights will come on at all. There is standing water in the bottom. We have replaced the thermal fuse and still nothing. What...

Re-verify the thermal fuse.
If the new wire that came with the fuse was not used the fuse will blow again.
Check the door switch for continuity.
The power to all parts goes through the door switch first.
Open the wire terminal box and check the incoming power wires for good contact.
The drain pump may have a blockage in it as well.

I have a Kenmore Dishwasher, it appears to go through the cycle, but it will not remove the water from the dishwasher, the dish detergent and water are at the bottom of the dishwasher

If you truly have power and the thermal fuse isnt blown you may need a new impeller. My impeller and the waste chopper went bad when my son left something on a plate. It broke the impeller and bent the chopper. It wasnt cheap but I did it myself. Make sure you replace to old gasket with a new one, supplied in the kit.
