eaglehunter8, You should tell fixya more info than just "it don't work no more!" Here are some things that would be very helpful to know if you post on this forum. Is monitor in or out of warranty? Is it a new monitor? Was it working fine 12 hours ago? If monitor is hooked up to a different PC, will it do the same thing? If you plugin a different monitor to your PC is it working ok?? If PC is already booted up then when you turn on the monitor will it show something for only 1-2 seconds and then return to a "BLACK" screen? What is the power "on" LED color? Is that the normal operating "color", or some other color? Does this monitor have AC line cord that is plugged into the rear of monitor? Does this one possibly have a "lay it on the floor" blackbox power supply? The only thing I can say to you is that your monitor might have a bad power supply printed circuit board with a failed component on it. All modern electronic PLUG IT IN THE WALL equiptment wil have some sort AC to DC power supply! I assume that because you were able to post this cry for help on another PC, you could go look at (browse) a web site www.electronic-repair-guide.com just to look at the pictures of what is inside a LCD backlit monitor. Get back to me with a little more info after trying a few of the things I mentioned above. hope to hear from you. I'm lmistyrel @ aol.com or louie12fix on fixya.
