My Afterglow Ap.2 ps3 controller turns off randomly during gameplay. How do I fix?

It's quite possible that the controller is faulty...Xbox One controllers are actually having the same issue as well. Normally speaking you can either contact your manufacturer about an inquiry to get it sent in for repair, or you'll have to go out and get a new one. If they don't have a fix for you, that's one of your final options.

Hi eveyone i have a ps3 and a Logitech wireless controller but won't connect to the ps3 please help

If there is a USB cable /charging port plug into PS3. If this doesn't have a USB cable /charging cable using your other ps3 controller turn ps3 on, scroll over to the settings, manage blue tooth accessories, turn controller on in discovery mode , and follow steps on screen to pair your PS3 and controller

PS3 wireless controller will not charge. Is there an internal battery?

There is an internal battery, but you would have to open the controller to access it and it is not easily replaceable. Try charging the controller using a usb port other than the ones on your PS3 and be sure to press the PS button after you have connected the controller.

My dual shock 3 is not lighting at all. i tried connecting it on my ps3 and laptop using different usb cables but still when i press the ps button it didn't ligh

This usually happens when the controls have lost most of their power.
Try leaving your controller plugged in (charging)overnight or for like 2 hours. (Controls only charge with the PS3 ON).

My PS3 wireless controller works fine, except for the fact the it has a delayed reaction to every movement I make it do. If I move the joy-stick left 1.5 seconds later the same appears on the television....

It sounds to me like there is a noteable delay due to a combination of things: your Bluetooth wireless controler (primary reason), and the cable connection from your PS3 to your TV. Now, to determine what the problem is specifically, you'll need to check a few things:

1. Make sure your PS3 is updated to the latest software

2. Check to make sure your cable connections from your PS3 to your TV are firmly in place. I personally have noticed that I got delayed reactions when my HDMI cable was not firmly secured to my HD TV. Weird, but as soon as I unplugged and re-plugged in the cable at both the TV end and the PS3 end, it cleared things up for me. If that does NOT work (btw, this can also be the case if you use a composite or component set up too).

3. Check to make sure that your PS3 controller is fully charged. Controllers that are partially charged occasionally do demonstrate really weird results, like the delay you're talking about. So, make sure that your PS3 controller is fully charged.

4. If the controller is fully charged AND your PS3 to TV cable is plugged in properly, then try to plug the USB cable to connect your PS3 controller to your PS3. Sometimes, for reasons I don't know about yet, this could solve the delay problem.

When my controller is charging it shuts off on it's own.or goes into standby mode.ONLY when connected to my ps3.

the problem can be in 3 places. the ps3, the controller, or the cord. get a camera cord that lets you move pics to your computer and charge it with that. ask a frriend to charge your controller with their ps3, or try a new controller.

Ps3 controller wont work unless hooked up to the system

Not sure if this is the same as my issue but worth a try anyway. I had tried 2 duashock 3 controllers with our 80GB system. Neither would work unless plugged in. Reset, left plugged in for hours, nothing worked. Tried a different USB cable and worked right away. I let if charge for a few minutes and unplugged it, still worked. I did notice that when I was using the first USB cable that when I checked status of the controller (charge, controller assignment, etc) it had a "-" instead of showing a charging animation. Hope this helps.
