Question about Galaxy Radios DX-93T Base CB Radio
The VCO sounds like it is being temperature sensitive remove the cover turn the radio on cold blow warm air from a hair dryer into the chassis on to the circuit board see if it works as soon as it gets warm if so check the voltage test points and have a VCO realignment done.

Radio has a cold solder joint , take an eraser end of a pencil and lightly probe around the board to look for it this is the first thing to try
