Question about JVC DR-MV5S DVD Recorder/VCR
I pull power plug for about 2 sec.and reinsert it. My unit likes to do this by going haywire on the VHS side.

Though it may be different for different models, the JVC XV-N40 DVD Player LOCK can be disengaged (and engaged) by pressing the [EJECT] button while holding-down the [STOP] button. Yes, it's that simple but I had to search online to find it too.
