Question about Apple MacBook 13"White /2.0Ghz Intel Core2 Duo White/2GB (2x1gb)/80GB/SuperDrive (Z0DT) Mac Notebook

My mac book which I have had for more than a year all of a sudden is unable to sustain its wireless internet connection. It begins at 100% and then slowly decreases to 0. Any thoughts? Thanks

    check the transmitter setting in utilities/airport utility.

Airport cards do fail, it sounds like yours has, they are not that expensive now, so having it changed won't cost an arm and a leg.

Please check the internet settings of the Lan connection in the Mac Book. May be there is IP Address or DNS settings is installed in your Mac Book which are stopping the wireless network services. Please check the IPV4 settings in the Lan or wireless connection properties.

check your network settings in system preferences. Is there a green dot next to airport? Ethernet? Check your modem and router for your connection.

Apple USB Ethernet suddenly not functional with mac book air


I've run into a similar problem myself. The problem could be that there is another device in the area using the same frequency and is causing interference. Try changing the frequency on your adapter. If you've recently added a wireless device and you can't change the frequency on your adapter try changing the frequency on the new device or turning it off to test if it's the problem.
It's possible someone else in the area has added a device that's causing the problem look around for new wireless devices or antenna in the area.

well it sounds like you need either to reset your wireless router(little blue utton on the back of the router) or you need to clear your safari history/cashe.
