Question about Mitsubishi CS-27205 TV

1 Answer

Our Mitsubishi TV is flashing a blue screen every 10-15 seconds?

The sound is fine on the TV, but it won't keep from flashing this blue screen. It started a few months ago, and would eventually go away after an hour or so, but now it's constant.

Any advise is great! Thank you.

Two questions for you.
1. What is the model of the set?
2. What sources are you trying to watch? Are you on cable, satelite, dvd player, vcr,
which of these are you watching and does the problem occur on all sources or just
certain ones?

Not having the above information, I will give you some information. Blue screen comes up
on these sets because of a loss of video signal. First thing you should do is to check your
cables between your sources to see if a wire has pulled partway or now completely out
say between satelite receiver and set. You might replace the cables in case you have
a broken wire inside the cable.
Some sets have the ability to go into the menu and shut off blue screen so you can
then see what the video looks like even if it is low level. From there you can do some
diagnostics by wiggling or connecting/ disconnecting the cables.
Beyond this there could be a loose connection internal to the set or a part failing, but
be sure to check for those cable connections first as that is the most likely cause. Also
it is good to try it with another video source or test the source on another set to be sure
that the video source hasn't developed a malfunction.

Hello, I have a Mitsubishi LT-46151. When I power the TV ON I'm getting a blue screen and the GREEN power light is flashing. The blue screen continues to show and then the GREEN flashing power light

Hey it sounds like u have did everything, so check and make sure u downloaded the right firmware on a good USB drive such as a 4GB and make sure format it with Fat32 before u download. Have seen that before with jump drive device and follow directions from Mfg website. If does not work then the CPU or Eprom has been corrupted and main board needs replacing.

Check video source first. Check other inputs. . Then hold down first and 3rd button from the right on tv for 5 seconds until green led flashes. count the flashes. It will flash several times pause then flash several more times. This is a code 2 digits. Let me know what code is.

Our Mitsubishi WD 52525 goes to blue screen and shuts off.

It sounds like you TV is overheating and the video is suffering and the lamp is overheating as well. Also, if your TV is over 2-3 years old, the mirrors (behind and below the big front screen) desperately need to be cleaned. Clean all filters and fans as well. (Look on side and behind the unit). Is the TV in a "hot" environment and/or dirty environment? DLP TV's are NOT sealed units. They need to be cleaned every few years to work well to have a good, clear, bright picture.
