Question about RIM BlackBerry 8800
When i connected to my lop top after installed blackberry's Cd it has uncountred with this problem.
Need to go back to place where you bought phone and use your warranty. As far as back up, plug your phone into your pc and it will autorun. Decline install and look into "my computer" and you should see your phone as a flash drive. There are your files.

I think i know what you mean. i had a similar problem where the cd software was different that the phones software and i had a runtime error. I had to wipe the phone clean and start over, i lost all the information on the phone. (unless u are connected to a back up system.)
