I read somewhere that the Denon's have 2Mb of memory in and you can only
tell on poorly pressed discs.

I haven't noticed any layer changes on my Toshiba 220, which I've had
for a few months now, though to be honest I haven't been looking for
them.

My old Wharfy 750 was pretty good at layer changes compared to my LG
which is _very_ noticable.

This is another time when I wish I hadn't sold the good old Wharfy!

Some Denons do have buffer memory to compensate. I have no idea why this
isn't standard on all decent players though.
