Problem with g-pen 610

I don't know much about tablets but, software drivers may need to be upgraded to be compatible with Vista. (or) check for software upgrades to match the operating system.

plug and play (PNP) still need drivers installed to make them work
down load the drivers from the manufacturers web site

Is that the same with computer. If yes, just run the system restore. choose the date you want to restore.

If not, uninstall software that you install before that might corrupted the program.

In photoshop, press F5 to bring up your brush control window. Under shape dynamics and other dynamics and any other brush attributes you wish to control with your pen, make sure that control is set to "pen pressure" in the drop down menu. Hope that fixes it for ya.

check that all connections from the drawing tablet into the pc are secure

I believe I understand what you are referring to. I can reproduce this same effect in Photoshop 6. The settings for tweaking this and other options like opacity is under the "BRUSH DYNAMICS" button for the particular brush. The default seems to have SIZE set to be managed by the STYLUS pressure. If this is changed to OFF, the size will remain constant, and you can use stylus pressure to change another dynamic. Hope this is of some help.

Do NOT format it -- I did a complete format as another user suggested and now it only appears to be useful as a pen drive. It will not play anything and I've tried reinstalling the firmware and it doesn't even recognize that it's an mp3 player so I can't install it!
