HELLO, I HAVE A CENTREX AIR CON UNIT AS WELL.. I HAVE NOT TURNED IT ON SINCE LAST SUMMER.. THE REMOTE IS WORKING BUT I'M NOT ABLE TO TURN THE UNIT ON.. I ASSUME IF IT'S ON A SMALL LIGHT SHOULD COME ON. WHERE IS THE POWER SWITCH AND IS THERE A MANUAL WAY TO TURN IT ON FROM THE UNIT?
You're right! It's receiving sensor problem with your PCB. Only repairman who knows electronic tech could only repair. I could say the cost of repair in Indian Rupees IRS.850/- maximum. Hope it's helpful?
please turn off the switch of air con and after two minut turn on, your main electric soures for reset the settings then it will show to you on it,s display Green light. it is sign of power supply after that you can use your remote control with your air con,
please check when you make on your air con it,s getting turn off from it,s circuit breaker then it,s an electrical short circuit problem if it,s turn off by it,s remote controller then it can be micro control program error.
if you know how to read to a electrical meter then try to check your electrical main source it,s passing electricity to air con and try to find out the problem
if not then try to contact to maintenance personnel. it,s up to you what you want to select option.
Hi Shannon, I would pursue your fight with Fujitsu, normally their units are reliable:( It could be a really simple problem or a really complex one ranging from many componenets. A air conditioner has many more components that people may think. Keep fighting to get the unit repaired will it is still under warranty, after that Fujitsu wont want to know you. It could also be a wiring and refrigerant fault. Call Fujitsu out again. I take the time to answer your question, so please rate me.
Ours did the same. My husband checked the manual and found that the filters were FILTHY! The filter is at the front of the inside unit. If you still have the manual it will show you where. This fixed ours as it was NOT working at all!!
