Have you had the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ? I would start there first . Battery , charging system all good ? What computer , the ABS has a control module all to it self . The Air con has a relay in the under hood fuse box controlled by the PCM / engine computer . If there is a problem with ABS , The EBCM - electronic brake control module will turn on ABS and the red brake light .
A low voltage condition could cause this problem , but I would expect more of the lights to be lit on the dash . Including the check engine light , battery light . This are not connected , Power or ground wise . Have the vehicle checked for codes , that should be the first place to start any diagnostic's always !
You should have either a "snow flake " looking button that willl turn it on and off. The other style is all controls with air conditioning are in blue. All functions with air conditioning is not colored blue. You will have air conditioning on automatically if you run the defrost.

When you have a moment pop the bonnet and look for the air con compressor run by a automotive belt on the side of the engine. Get the engine running at idle and then get someone else to turn the air con on whilst you watch the compressor. As the system is turned on the compressor clutch should engage and the unit should start turning, if this isn't happening there isn't enough pressure in the system (leak or just low on pressure) Get to your local air con guy and they will pressure test for leaks. Air con system is run on pressure, so that is really the issue you need to rectify

Hi Shannon, I would pursue your fight with Fujitsu, normally their units are reliable:( It could be a really simple problem or a really complex one ranging from many componenets. A air conditioner has many more components that people may think. Keep fighting to get the unit repaired will it is still under warranty, after that Fujitsu wont want to know you. It could also be a wiring and refrigerant fault. Call Fujitsu out again. I take the time to answer your question, so please rate me.
hi... I am facing the problem before. You need to change one control ring(yellow in colour)inside the steering.You have to open the steering n there is one yellow ring inside the steering box.That control ring quit expensive but sometime you can get it secondhand.thank you
