Question about Denon AVR-3805 Receiver
Sometimes my receiver shuts off and a flashing red light blinks. It doesn't always happen after the same amount of time. I have about 2 inches on either side of the receiver and about 10 inches of space on top and about 6 inches in the back. I think this is proper ventilation. Do you think there is a problem with my receiver? Denon AVR-488 will crackle, Thunder, whine then no sound. This has happened on my 1st AND replacement. Any resolution to this problem?
Denon has released a Technical Service Bulitin about this problem. To fix it, an authorized service center will solder a jumper wire to bypass a connector, which has been shown to fail. It has nothing to do with the settings, or setup of this unit as described in Solution #1. It has to do with faulty parts within the unit. Just call Denon for an authorized service center and it is a quick fix. I have a AVR-488 that had the same problem and was fixed with the help of this bulliten and fix. No problems since.

The two things that makes this happen is the speakers are not connected right in the back or the 2nd zone volume level is to high should be between -20 / -3
