The curser starts moving to the right of the screen and it will disapear to theright and then will not work

Remove the password. There are work arounds for this situation depending on OS used. Google for the procedure.

shut the unit down properly, then restart this should solve the problem.

Sounds to be a hardware problem. especially if it would move by itself at times, now not at all.

Windows is detecting it correctly, right?

Sounds like the taskbar is unlocked. Put your curser on the taskbar and hold dowwn the left click button and pull the curser in an arcing motion to the bottom of the screen. The taskbar should return there.

Once back at the bottom of the screen right click on taskbat and click on Lock the Taskbar in the pop up menu.

The blob is a phisically damaged part of the LCD screen. Unfixable, the screen must be replaced and it will be expensive.

If the mouse totally stop working like left/right click, moving, etc then i suggest replace the battery of your mouse and try. If the same result then again install the driver & restart the netbook.

It could be that your hands are brushing against your trackpad.

check if you have the right drivers installed for the mouse that you are trying to use

Regarding the touchpad (curser pad), there maybe a problem with your touch pad driver not working or starting up. Check in "msconfig" (you can click on start and run, then type msconfig to bring it up) and click on the startup tab to check which of the startup items are not working.

Also regarding the card reader, i believe the drivers are not installed. Check in Device Manager (click on start /control panel /system icon /device manager) and see what is listed under "other devices"

oh no!! i suggest that have to reformat your console. Maybe, some of its drivers tend to malfunction..
