Routers will be disconnected from the internet if it detected idle time, and the only way for it to gain connection is by powercycling. To avoid getting disconnected when you leave your router downloading overnight, make sure your router is set to "always on". Configurations on the router can be done on its interface. The interface of the router can be pulled up by typing its default gateway in the address bar of a browser(eg. internet explorer, mozilla firefox etc). To get the default gateway of your device, pull up the command promt, then type ipconfig. The moment you hit enter, results will show the default gateway. Is there any more questions? Feel free to ask.
