If it is in fact the L200...hit the over to the left button (it should have a symbol that resembles a lightning bolt) Hit this button until you see a symbol appear on the left hand side of the screen that resembles an eye...

the normal eye symbol means that the camera will reduce the red eye effect.... the symbol of an eye that seems to have a check mark going through it means that the camera will automatically detect and compensate for red eye effect...

((the camera will need to be in auto mode or whatever mode will actually allow you to take photos prior to changing these settings))

Also... If you hit the up button which could have a symbol that looks like a square with a line on each side of it... the camera will give you the option to

"display every piece of information about shooting"

    "Display the basic information" or

    "display description for each feature"

The "Display description for each feature" option will enable the camera to explain exactly what each feature on the camera does...

My Samsung L200 does not turn on anymore while everything is at its place, And when I connect to any USB port, it shows a red arrow sign blinking on its cabke. Nothing else. Please help

It may be the battery has failed or isn't charging, have you charged it? Try taking out the battery and connecting to usb, does that change things? If so you should charge or replace the battery.

WHY DO I GET RED EYE IN MY PICTURES WITH RED EYE ON

It's becasue of human eye. Eye bottom is red, and when flash fires, camera captures eye bottom
Red eyes function makes pre flash, for pupil to become smaller, but if it is very dark, it is not enought. There is no best solution for eyes not be be red, but shooting techniques can help You or You can try some software after.

Red-eye problem for our baby, but not adults?

That's normal for all point and shoots when shooting babies. Either bring up the room lights, use the red-eye function with the flash, or use a photo editing program to remove the red-eye.

Even with the red eye reduction function turned on I still get red eye----why

Red eye happens because the flash is close to the lens. Even with the red eye reduction function, you're still going to get some. You can either use off-camera flash, or correct it in software.

I called 1-800-samsung, and they sent me a new battery. After the problem insisted, they asked me to ship the camera back to them (still under warranty). The concluded that the cable was defective, and they shipped me a new one within 1 week. That was fast!!!

Red Eye

There's two ways to reduce/eliminate the red-eye with your A570IS cameras. The first is at the time of exposure, by ensuring the red-eye reduction function is activated via the shooting menu (see page 28 of the manual). In shooting mode, press "menu", highlight the "tools" icon, and go down to "red-eye on/off". Toggle over to "on". That should take care of red-eye, in some, but not all cases. You can also remove red-eye after the image has been recorded (page 69 of the manual). You can isolate the red eyes if the camera doesn't automatically them for you. This should give you two shots at eliminating red-eyes. Another, often overlooked way to reduce red-eye is to zoom out and move physically closer to the subject, rather than relying on the zoom lens to get you close when shooting with flash. Hope this helps.

Red Eye

If the red-eye reduction is turned on, and you can verify that the pre-flash is functioning, you may need to think about shooting technique. With ultra-compact cameras, the flash is necessarily placed close to the lens. This is the worst design possible to avoid red-eye. To reduce red-eye as much as possible, ensure the red-eye reduction system is turned on (and functioning properly), and get close to the subject. I mean "physically" close, not just close by zooming. Use as little zoom as possible. If the subject is small, move closer, without relying on the zoom lens to make the subject appear closer.
