Sounds like a faulty safety switch somewhere... maybe the neutral switch or the clutch switch.

I have a cub cadet lt104 and we replaced the battery and solenoid and it won't start

wont crank or wont start. 2 different things...

wont crank, in this order: check fuse, brake switch ( adjustment and operation ) and then ignition switch

wont start but does crank: check for spark, yes then check fuel shut off solenoid. no, disconnect kill wire to coil and check again, still no, coil is issue, if yes after disconnecting kill wire suspect a safety switch

If it is cranking and not starting, check the switch on the bottom of the bowl. Those go bad I just recently changed one. If that is not it than please explain a little more. your paragraph ended abruptly.

Ran over metal coathanger, mower stopped ,removed coathanger and mower will not start, whats wrong ?

Souns like it may have sheared the flywheel key, this is a failsafe to stop it bending the crankshaft, remove the flywheel and check the key, it is alluminium, you may need a special puller to remove the flywheel as it is on a taper.

When I try to start it with the key start it will not turn over changed fuse but still no start. How do I check the starting system?

What you probably have is either a bad connection to the starter, or switch, or you have a faulty starter, or battery. I would start by checking the wires. Take them loose and reconnect them. If that is to no avail, then you will want to have the battery and starter tested.

Lawn mower wont start. changed air filter, spark

Does it turn over? If it does, what happens? Does it sound normal when its cranking? I need more information to help. Is it a push mower or riding mower? Does it start by key or pull start?

My lawn mower cranks but wont start I have

The magnets are fitted in the flywheel under the pullstart engine cover but i dont think thats your problem. It sounds more like fuel trouble. Remove and clean out the carb. and maybe renew the diaphram.

Motor willnot start. clicking noise when i try to start it. the battery is good and i jump started it with my car--started great. i have cleaned the posta and cables

the problem is the starter cylinoid . this is going to set you back about 10 to 15 dollars.

or it could be your starter trying to go out, it will crank off your car battery because you are using more amps to crank it..
a car battrey has more cranking amps than a small engine battery..f.y.i.

Lawn mower will not hold charge with new battery sometimes starts sometimes no l 120 john dear mower I change my alternator, but it was not turn the fly wheel. what I did wrong

Often mowers come with batteries which simply do not have the cranking amps to do the job. Have someone look at your mower and see if your attery has the sufficient cranking amps.
