This sounds like it maybe a virus that takes over the computers control panel and disables the keyboard and mouse so you can't clean your system.

Try booting into safe mode and see if the same thing happens. If you can run scans with AVG, Malwarebytes and Spybot. All of which can be downloaded for free from "download dot com"

What's your question?I want set my system manually especially my cm

U use your keyboard during the boot process to get into the Cmos menu. Varies by company - could be the delete key that you have to hit, F2, F11 - like I said it varies and you will have to experiment unless you can get the info from the mo bo site.

How to reset bios?

Restart your computer

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the Delete or F2 key
this will vary depending on your computer and operating system

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

this will set the boot order

hope this helps

if this fails you might try some of these

Acer: - Ctrl+Alt+Esc

ALR PC: (F2) or (Ctrl)(Alt)Esc)

AMI BIOS: (Del), (F1) or (F2)

AST, Advantage, Award, Tandon: - Ctrl + Alt + Esc

Award BIOS: (Del) or (Ctrl)(Alt)(Esc)

Gateway g6-300 will not post.. do i have the jumper settings wrong?

If this is a system that you've been using and now just won't POST, it's not due to jumpers. Most likely it's just that the board (or processor) is bad. This is a fairly old board, and chances are some of its filter capacitors have reached the end of their life. This is a common failure, and typical symptoms are a system that doesn't boot or boots intermittently, or freezes during booting or operation if Windows ever starts. It's also possible the system power supply isn't working properly.

Information on what jumpers there are, as well as other connectors, is here.

Hope this helps. Thanks for using Fixya!

Cannot reboot computer it will freeze everytime at the finnalizing stage.

Most computers set Harddisk as the default boot option. Go to BIOS setup(press del during startup) and go to boot options and changed it from there. It is either found on advanced setup or it has a menu of its own, depending on the BIOS chip.
