SOURCE: I cannot record music on my CD-R from my windows player

Try a different brand. Make sure you do not let auto-run format your disc (for non-rewritable discs) when it is loaded into the burner. I turned off auto-run due to this. RW discs can be formatted.

I hope this helps.

(I've seen different DVD manufacturing processes give a string of "coasters" on a given burner but CDs can have the issue.)

My 2000 Toyota Echo's CD player works, but will not play any of the CD's I burned. It plays any regular CD i put in it, but will not play the one i burned. The music files are MP3

Hi, as much as a pain in the rear that it is, that is not an uncommon issue. The fact that it plays your commercial man. discs is a good thing. Now, here are a few things to try. Always use discs for music not data. Do not use rewritable discs. And make sure when you burn your discs, be sure to close them. Hope that helps.

I burned a disc of music but doesn't play on my Panasonic CD Stereo System.

Some players are like that! You need to experiment with different makes and speed settings when recording!

Why won't bose play some cds

Could it be the CDs you can't play, are burned in a PC?
Not all CD players can or will play CD's burned in a PC. Sometimes the CD player is to old, so not compatible with these CDs. Sometimes the player just does not play these CD's, because of rights protection.
A CD burned in a PC is less reflective than an normal music CD. Normal CD's do have a metal coating and are highly reflective. Burned CD's have a dye, and where the laser burned the dye, it only changed colour. Making it less reflective.
All modern CD playes should be capable of playing CD r's. But the player that is really compatible, is labelled CDr and CDrw compatible.

How to fix the ERR1 in Toyota Yaris CD Player

Error #1 means unreadable disc.

This condition appears a few reasons:
- Burned disc. These players don't always like burned CD's. Try burning your discs slower (like 8x instead of 40x, yes this makes a difference) or using higher quality CD-R's. Made in Japan discs are the best (Taiyo Yuden). Yes this also makes a difference.
- Dirty or scratched disc.
- Dirty Laser. I've had really good luck with those CD cleaners. It is a CD with some small brushes on the bottom. Worth a shot.
- Deck is plain junk.

Additionally, in this lnk could find other details about fix-error-1-cd-player.html

Put in disk in 360. Play Playonline viewer, but screen goes black, and says cannot read disk, need to clean or restart. I did this several times and same result.

I had this problem recently. What happened was you closed the game without logging out of Playonline. The long shut down I call it. This corrupts the FFXI data on your HDD. And since FFXI does not appear in the memory you have to format your HDD and redownload. I can guarantee if you put the disc in your xbox with no HDD that it will read or even place it in an xbox with a HDD that has never had FFXI.

Blue ray player wont play blue ray ''Kung Fu Panda'' disc.

i fixed this exactly as previous posted solutions, however a couple of points.
a) recordable CDs work if you don't have a DVD burner.
b) I didn't have a CD burner that would do an "image burn", I downloaded a free copy of "Express Burn" and that worked fine. The disk needs to be "finalised" or "fixated", it should do this automatically, or it may be a tick box selection.
c) I got a "No DWLD 09" when I put the disk into the player. I found this was an incompatibility with the CD-R (Maxwell) I was using. I changed to JVC and it worked fine.
