My Keurig is clogged inside the machine. WAter will go through the side water holder. It makes the sound of brewing for a couple of seconds, then nothing

Don't know which model you have but they all need regular cleaning, especially if they've sat for long periods of time between brews. If you're a dextrous DiY'er then there are some guides on youtube that will show a take apart process but what I usually do is run a vinegar solution (1 part vinegar-4 parts water) but you can use your cleaner-descaler of choice until the water comes out clean and normal flow. It's not difficult to look under the pod holder and see if something is blocking the water nozzle. If you look, please remember to unplug it, wear eye protection and wait until the machine is cold.

Why does my Keurig smoke when brewing coffee, and the water doesn't go through until I take out the cup?

You probably have a clogged nozzle/needle. Take a straightened paperclip and run it thru the hollow needles that puncture the top and bottom of the k-cup. Make sure they are clear then try to brew a cup. Never reuse a k-cup. That's what usually clogs the needles.

I bought a used Jura Capresso CoffeeTec 471. When i fill the water container and place the water container in the unit, it leaks water all over my counter. It seems the gaskets just can't hold the flow...

I had the same problem. I filled the water container and held it up for a while to make sure the two plunger/valves were not leaking. They held water well so I knoew it was probably not the tank. I called Capresso at 800-767-3554 and spoke to a tech. She asked me to test the water container and I told her I had already done this. She said then unless it was an internal problem it probably was the two seating valves that the tank fits into. She said the soft rubber gets hard over time. She sent them to me for free. I tried them today and when I took out the old ones they were very hard and the plastic cover was a little nicked. The new rubber is very plyable and when I put them in and seated the full water tank it made a nice rubber-to-plastic squeeking sound that let me know it seated correctly. It has been 2 hours so far with ten cups of water and no leaks. If you try this make sure you place the rubber grommet into the hole with the solid side up. It is shapped like an "n" and the open side goes down. Good luck.

Leaks water

There are many possible points that the leak can be.

You need to disassemble the machine and work it without the side panels of course with extra care since power electrical cables are exposed.

In this way with a very good visual check while the machine is in operation you can identify the leaking point and fix it.

Bunn coffee maker leaks all over the counter. What

there's probably a 'silicon rubber' hose that feeds hot water to the 'grounds basket'- it may be loose, or damaged. is it leaking water, or coffee?? we have a bunn 8-cup, which has a pre-heated water tank that brews a pot in about 3 min. energy waster, but when you need coffee, you need coffee!!! is your filter holder properly centered? is the carafe lid hole clean and un-obstructed?
if it's leaking water, and not too costly to replace- you may consider replacing it with a new one!
good luck!

Can't get the water to brew through the coffee

I know it's not the same make as mine, but when I had that problem, it was the strainer holes that were blocked and the coffee wouldn't filter through, I just took a wire brush to it and cleared the holes no problem and away she went. . Hope that helps

Descaling

Remove the filter holder (portafilter).
The manual says to unscrew the nozzle from the filter holder coupling and wash with hot water.
Mix a liquid decalcifier with water in tank at a 1:1 ratio. DO NOT USE VINEGAR! It says to fill the water reservoir.
Run the cleaniing solution through the machine - pressing the coffee button, 1 cup at a time. During each interval let the decalcifier act for 10 or 15 minutes by turning off the machine by the main switch.
Carefully wash the tank and fill with fresh water and empty 2/3 of this by pressing the coffee button.
Now let the machine warm up and empty the rest of the reservoir by rotating the hot water/steam knob.
Screw the nozzle in the filter holder coupling again.

Open the drawer and take out the box for the grounds. Run a rinse cycle and it should now go back into place.
