Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer
You didn't mention some fairly important items;
- Are you connecting to a new system? - PC or Mac? - Which operating system do you have?
If a PC with Windows, go to the Control Panel, open the printers folder, delete your printer if shown, then leave the HP connected and turned on, reboot your system.
Windows should find the printer and may install some basic drivers but these won't use all of the features you may have.
This should give you some functionality so you can at least print.
Next, go to the HP website, follow the path through to the support section and you will be asked for model number and other things. You will be able to download all the software for the 1315 there and once you have it, I suggest you go through the same procedure from the beginning but this time, when asked for a disk, you will have to give the location of the downloaded package to get all functions back again.
