SOURCE: our electrolux eob5630 oven keeps turning off

its the thermal cut out. replace it. ISOLATE oven.
slide oven out a few inches, remove knobs, remove front panel(two screws)
you will only be able to pull panel 3-4" due to wires.
Cutout has 2 blue and 2 white wires..
you may need to snip a couple of cable ties.
Put new cutout in one wire at time( easy to forget where they go)
Tidy up wires. Put cover back. Secure oven in hole.
Turn on power. Reset clock(otherwise won't work)
Done 10 minute job

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Electrolux double oven, model# DD060GA, is having trouble with the bottom oven coming on. I also see that your top oven works just fine. This appears to be a UK Electrolux double oven. I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly. They will be able to better assist you in getting your bottom oven functioning correctly.

I cannott get oven to turn on, asssume it is with the timer as light & grilll work. Model no 6381902

Light and grill work. I assume that the oven indicator wont light when you turn the oven on. If so the timer is probably in automatic mode. Set the timer to manual mode and the oven should work. If the indicator light is coming on at the moment the oven element is probably faulty.

Heard a pop/bang and now no heat

Sounds like the oven element has blown.
To fit a new one, remove cover at rear of inner oven compartment, there you will see the round fan element.

Can Get Door Back On

Just managed to put the doors on. Do the bottom door first. There are 2 little spikes on the bottom of the door. You need to slot them into the holes in the frame. Then make sure that the little metal flaps on the top of the door fit UNDERNEATH the inner door frame. Screw together.

Same with the top door, additionally add the trim on top.

Thanks to solution #1 - I've literally been fuffing about since yesterday evening, I was about to call out the engineer! :)
