Question about Refrigerators
We have a GE Profile (about 11 yrs old) and I just noticed items not staying frozen or cold in fridge side. The fan is running in the bottom. Inside both sides is producing air, just not cold enough. Before - this thing would freeze items fast and we had to keep the temps below the average (warmer) especially in the fridge side or things would freeze - up top
Could it be a simple - clean the coils in the bottom and around the fan? Is there a way to know if it is a bad compressor - sounds to listen for?
Does'nt sound like your compressor.sounds like you may have frost build up,and the tubes may be partially blocked.Try defrosting the whole unit.
