Foul odor when I begin vacuming with My Dyson

When I start vacuming, after a few seconds, there is a foul odor from my dyson vacum cleaner. I tried emptying the canaster and shaking it, but the odor remained. How can I get rid of the odor.

Sounds like you have sucked up something wet and it has soaked into the liner, try vacuuming up a box of baking soda, then let it soak up for a day or two.

My dyson vacum cleaner does not suckup dirt but the suction works?

You have to try to lower the basis of your vacuum cleaner, in order to make it closer to the earth, this way it will "**** the dust' much better.

I didn't understand what you need exactly, but anyway, you can find both of them on amazon (the entire vacum, or just a battery 1500Mah). take a look on following links:
1. entire vacum: Dyson DC16 Root 6 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
2. just battery: Pwr 1500mAh Extended Capacity Battery for Dyson Dc16 Root 6 Vacuum Cleaner...

Deodorizing the vacuum

First of all Clean out the vacum cleaner . Empty canister and take filter outside and hit on something to get all dust out . Now wash canister and filter with vinegar water and let dry before using vacum again. You might try using carpet fresh for pet odors on carpet and empty and clean canister and filter regularly. I own a cleaning business and this is a hard problem to solve with all vac. cleaners. Good Luck!!
