Question about Televison & Video
I have had my Samsung plasma for about two years. No picture just black screen but we have sound and can change channels. help, is it worth repairing??? 16 months and screen all of a sudden went black. My TV guy replaced internal power supply with no improvement. Any suggestions?
Black Screen come from three areas. 1- Power Supply Board 2- Inverter Board 3- Processing Board on the LCD. Since the Power Supply Board was replace, it easy to troubleshoot where the problem. lies If you cannot get the backlight, then its the inverter board. If you can use a flash light on the TV screen and can barely see the images, then the problem is indeed the inverter board. If you cannot see any images when using a flash light, then the problem comes from the LCD processing board. Let me know if you have any success. Mike
