Question about Palm Treo 755p Smartphone

2 Answers

I purchased a aliph jawbone 2 from all4cellular.com for $69.95 and it won't pair up with my treo 755p. It's not my phone because I can pair up with my wifes Motorola headset. I even tried my coworkers jawbone 2 that he purchased retail, and his blackberry storm will recognize his jawbone, but not mine. I tried pairing with his and my treo won't pair up with his jawbone2 neither. Please let me know if there's a problem between the treo and jawbone2 or is the obvious evident. I bought a dud.

  2. Press Applications and select Bluetooth.
  3. Select Bluetooth On.

This problem is really easy to solve. The Jawbone 2 has two places to press in order to pair: the Noise Assassin button AND the Talk button. Hold down those two buttons. You'll know that it's pairing when it blinks white and red alternating. If it blink white once, and then only blinks red, that means it's not pairing, the headset is just turned on. Turn off the headset (hold down talk button for three seconds) and try it again. Be patient. Also, go to add a device in trusted devices first.

Usb charging port fell off inside my Aliph Jawbone Jambox Blue Wave Wireless , opened it up and have to find battary cause circit board broke off with port! wtf the usb port is always coming off stuff

A Jambox is a wireless speaker, not a phone. Anyone claiming to know the answer while referring to phones clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

The question is mis-filed under cellphones, but the respondents so far don't seem to care that it's not a phone at all. :D

Take a look here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5APtwqtEps

Apparently this is a very common problem with the Jambox, so contact support first and ask them to replace it.

With the jawbone turned off, press at the same time the turn on button and the noise reduction button. The jawbone should blink white and red for three minutes, in that time you shoul be able to find it as a bluetooth device in the free hnd configuration of the palm centro. than yu complete the conection by inserting the code. The next time you turn on the jawbone it will connect with te palm.

Sounds like it finds the stereo, but won't pair? You need to check with Treo. I know that my Treo 700WX did not pair with my stereo headsets until I downloaded a patch upgrade to the phone.

Jawbone bluetooth does not charge

My jawbone was not charging at all, but then I looked at the prongs on the charger and I saw that one of them was shorter than the others, so I got a pair of small needle nose pliers and gently pulled on it. It returned to its normal length and I plugged it up. It is now charging normally.
Jawbone should design a better charging system.
