Question about Garmin Nuvi 350 Car GPS Receiver
My sons Garmin nuvi 360 which is just over a year old, has just stopped acquiring the satellite signal.. Everything works but the satellite. I have spoken to two different technical support personnel at the support phone line and was told my warranty would be extended as, "good faith" and an e-mail with instruction would follow letting us know how to proceed in getting the unit repaired. I have done everthing they have asked of me but as of yet have not received any e-mail instructions. WHY????
This unit was bought at a Ford dealership in Canada where we live

Try resetting everything. The first step is to Start the GPS unit, while it is starting (when the screen turns on) hold your finger in the lower left corner. It will then prompt you to open in maint. mode. Select yes, and go through the menus by selecting next. When a third option is shownsuch as reset, select it. Reset everything including deleting your saved addresses, you will loose all of your saved info but it should start working again. Hope this works for you as it did for me.
