STIHL doesn't want people tinkering with their saws. You are better off bringing it to a repair center.

I have a hedge trimmer model number 8124 type 7 that just quit (froze up) as I was trimming and just makes a buzzing sound. I was wondering if it just needs oil or something to get it working again. If...

There's a good chance that a bearing froze up. It would need to be replaced which would require disassembling the saw motor. A DeWalt/B&D service center will go through the entire tool and replace whatever it needs for $25.99 It is part of their GRC repair program. Contact your local service center for details. You can find one near you by using this link and putting in your zip code.

We need a manuel for the curve o mark tool

These are the only instructions in the box, the other side of the sheet is a kist of their other products.

INSTRUCTION SHEET
Centering Heads
Curv-O-Mark Centering Heads aid in the setting of centerlines, establishing angles and marks for ****-ins, locating points inside pipes and tanks, laying out keyways and measuring declivity. The standard model (Stock No. 6) is used on pipe 1/2 inch diameter and larger. It has a 4 inch Y-type head and is fitted with an adjustable dial bubble protractor and a manually operated hardened centering pin.
The jumbo centering head (Stock No. 7) is for pipe 1 inch diameter and up. It has an 8 inch Y-type head and an adjustable dial bubble protractor. A spring-loaded hardened centering pin eliminates the need for a hammer.
To quickly and accurately locate the center point on a pipe, shaft or other cylindrical surface, first set the protractor dial at zero (0). Then place the centering head in the vicinity of the highest point of the cylindrical surface.
Move the centering head across the surface until the bubble is centered, then strike the centering pin a light blow. (On the jumbo model, release the spring loaded pin.) The resulting indentation will be top dead center.
If the desired center is at some angle away from top dead center, merely set the protractor dial to the appropriate degree mark to the right or left of zero (0); and then move the centering head around until the bubble is centered. At that point, make the indentation.
The centering pin should be used only in conjunction with the centering head. It should not be used as a center punch. Avoid making unnecessarily hard blows to the pin with a hammer or other objects.
No. 6 Standard Centering Head 0721-0005
No. 7 Jumbo Centering Head 0721-0006

I have purchased three milwaukee screw guns in the past year and a half and all four of my batteries will not charge. when my first set stopped working i had to purchased another screw gun and within six...

The same thing happened to me. There is normally a 2 year warranty on the batteries from Milwaukee. You can't return them to the Home Depot, you have to send them back via a local repair center.
You won't be able to exchange the batteries at the repair center. The repair center sends them back to Milwaukee and Milwaukee will send replacement batteries. You will probably be able to find the closest repair center on line.

I got a dayton welding maching model 5756 i need a manual

icon1.gif I got the following from a post regarding Dayton Welding Machines 5756: I have a Dayton 6Z935C welder with manual. It's probably 10+ years old. The address on the back of the manual is

Dayton Electric Mfg. Co.
5959 W. Howard Street
Niles, IL 60714

Sorry, no phone number is supplied.

An attached list of US Authorized Factory Service Centers lists:

EMR (Electric Motor Repair)
2010 North 4th St.
Minneapolis, MN 55411
800-345-0198
612-522-3318

An insert with the manual also says you can call 800-328-2921 for the most current list of Authorized Service Centers.

Hope this helps. __________________
