For the Hal.dll file missing problem do this: 1.Insert and boot from your WindowsXP CD. 2.At the first R=Repair option, press the R key 3.Press the number that corresponds to the correct location for the installation of Windows you want to repair. Typically this will be #1 4.Type bootcfg /list to show the current entries in the BOOT.INI file 5.Type bootcfg /rebuild to repair it 6.Type exit and take out the CD ROM
I would recommend either seaching dllfilename download on google. For example if your cmd.dll was missing, search cmd.dll download on google. Another option would be to use your installation cd. Open it in window explored and run search and search for the file that is mssing then copy that file from the cd into your compter
un install the application and re install it - if it still says the same then there is something wrong with the installer - if you go to the manufacturers website you may be able to download the application setup file or at least get the relevant dll ( either from there site or by using google and virus checking the file before registering the dll file )
