Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
When trying to edit settings within Plot Director I was getting an error that read, ''Error in file sender module.'' I uninstalled and reinstalled the application and when setting up a printer for the first time within the app I get that same error and then kicked out of the application. Any thoughts?
There are a few possible solutions.
First, only the last version of Plot Director (3.4.3) works in Windows 2000, so make sure that is the version being installed.
Secondly, once PD is installed and uninstalled all registry references must be removed before attempting to reinstall or you will encounter errors.
Third, make sure you have Administrator privileges when installing or editing the program.
Last, because there has been no development on PD since 2001 it may be having issues with security, such as the ability to edit files that are in a protected zone or communicating thru a firewall.
As a test make sure that none of these programs are active during installation or configuration.
