Randomly shuts down-shuts off. Have to re boot and start again.

    How random is it? Does it seem to last longer when you start it up the first time?

This may be a problem if your laptop has problems with heat. Being in a cool room with a lot of air-flow should solve this.
Although your laptop may have 'brain-damage' as such. In the respect that if you've dropped the laptop before or it has taken hits etc it may randomly turn it self on, or refuse to boot. If this is the case, there's no real way to deal with it.

Hang problem Toshiba satellite a205-s4607 Laptop what will i do? any solutions? Intalled new 500gb hd and upgraded memory to 4gb total. then reformat it to its orig OS Vista It flickers.

May be your Computer is infected and check for cables.
You need to run your computer through Safe mode with Networking and run the Anti Malware bytes and ccleaner(Run this software and analyze first and then Run Cleaner)

Toshiba a205 color off on screen, it seems that the colors are bleeding


Try this first. Start your Laptop in Safe Mode. Are you still having the problem. If you are try reinstalling your graphic card drivers..the color bleeds are mainly due to improper installing of graphic drivers...the blue screens are usually due to memory dumps(RAM problems)...

after the booting process, go to run command type msconfig, go to startup then uncheck all the programs thats you don't want to run at startup,reboot you laptop
