Re: DTS Doesn't works with my PS3
There are a few versions of DTS. if you are enabling DTS HD master on the menu for a blu ray disc this only outputs through the HDMI port not optical. This goes with all the new versions of DTS. If it is just DTS 5.1 it should go through. Make sure you have all the latest updates for your PS3. Make sure you are enabling DTS in the PS3 menu for optical out.( i dont own one so i dont know the menu at all) I just want to help. I hope this helps alittle and good luck with this.

I think your problem might be at the digital audio setup at the receiver. To fix this, go into the setup under digital audio and make sure that the input that your connected to is set to optical, not analog or coaxial. Example if your plugged into video 1, make sure that the audio setting corresponds to the optical input where your connected. Video 1-optical-1.
Use an optical cable and then it should work just fine. Just saw Avatar from my PS3 through the Samsung HT-BD2 and the sound was excellent.
So go and buy an optical cable :)
My problem is to get the BD2 to download updates. It doesn´t seem to work for me.
I missed this cause I "assumed" the video/audio cable that came with the PS3 was a HDMI to Audio/Video cable, and didn't even see the SCART port in the back of the PS3. So I thought I didn't want to lose 1080p ..etc etc. Anyways. MX 3950D still good =)
Connect the PS3 to your TV with the hdmi cable and to the surround sound system with a digital optical cable, then set your PS3 to output sound through the optical port (through the sound options menu) and you're good to go!
