What is the red light (dot shaped) that periodically flashes on the left hand side of my clock for?
My car is doing the exact same thing. Can anyone tell me why it's flashing.

you have what is called a 3800 series II engine the l-shaped tube is for your by-pass in the intake manifold and the by-pass for the heater core. you have to remove the serpentine belt first. then remove the altenator. this will leave the idler pully bracket. remove the 3 bolts they are 15mm heads. now gently pull the bracket away from engine. the L-shaped tubes come in a pack of 2 they are 2 different sizes and can only fit one way. you can buy them for under 5 bucks at Oreilly's. when you install them make sure you use a small amount of white lithium grease on the O-Rings before you attach them to the engine. Install the bolts and tighten to 22 ft lbs. of torque. installl the altenator and the serpentine belt and reconnect the battery. this should solve your problem... please rate this thanks.

Take bulbs out and check sockets also bottom of bulbs, park lights and tail lamps. If the solder contacts on bottom of bulbs are flat replace them.

Turn the ignition to ON, in your G3, without starting the engine. Fully press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds. If the CHG OIL SOON lights two times, the system is resetting. Turn the key to OFF, then start the vehicle. If the CHG OIL SOON light comes back on, the system has not reset, repeat the procedure.

For this replacement it is essential that you have good knowledge and better experience, if you are not sure with the process do not do this by yourself because you can accidentally break parts(clips) and cause more damage.
If you have crack in the mirror housing, there is no way you can fix it without replacing the whole thing. but the if it is only the mirror that is broken you can get only the mirror replaced.

There is a cover in the middle of the valve cover with four bolts holding it on. Unplug the module on the driver side of the cover, remove the four bolts, and the cover will come off. The spark plugs will be underneath.
