... explains what the Necchi Heavy Duty Sewing Machine can sew and ... How to thread a Necchi model 535 FA sewing machine [now with ...
Hi, it is always best to let a professional repair service handle your sewing machine problems. Can you take it back to the person you purchased it from? Is it under warrantee? I LOVE my machines and when they are "sick" I treat them as if they were my children and off to the Doctor I go. Best of luck, Kate
try rethread the machine top & bottom
if that doesn't work change thread-top & bottom
change the needle
make sure the thread has not come off the thread take up lever
also make sure the bobbin is not warped
here a needle & thread tip
Cut 6-8 inch piece of thread of the spool you are going to use for your project
Take the needle you are going to use for the project
& insert the thread thru the eye of the needle
& lift one end of the thread to a 45 degree angle
& if the needle is the right size for the thread it will slide down the thread
But if the needle hangs on the thread you need one size larger needle for the thread
if none of these suggestions work,,it may need to be serviced again,
but try a different repair shop if possible
if the thread under the fabric is a matted mess
1.the needle thread tension is to loose
2.needle is either to heavy or to fine for the thread
3.check to make sure the thread isn't off the thread take-up lever
First lift up the presser foot Then turn the handwheel until the take-up lever is at it's highest Thread: From the spool around the thread guide on the top rear around the thread guide top front down and around the tension, pulling up to fully engage the check spring in the tensioner up and through the take-up lever down through thread guides to the needle thread the needle from front to back
