Make sure the half load / drying button is pushed in also and the drying time set.
Do you know whether the temperature dial controls the washing or drying cycle. Have shrunk too many jumpers. Thanx

Whirlpool duet fw95hedco washer won't spin at max speed & leaves all clothes wet. No error codes during tech diagnostic visit. Washer only 18 months old.

Possible Defective washer transmission. Do you overload the washer with heavy items like towels or blue jeans very often? That can cause early failure.

I have a whirlpool duet dryer.. I need to know how to put in the rack for the tennis shoes.. HELP

Hi dear. Here is some help from the user manual.I hope that helps.Thanks. DryingRack
To use the drying rack
Do not remove the lint screen.
1. Open dryer door.
2.
Place drying rack inside dryer drum, positioning the back wire
on the ledge of the inner dryer back panel. Push down on
front edge of drying rack to secure over the lint screen.
3.
Put the wet items on top of the rack. Leave space between
the items so air can reach all the surfaces.
NOTE: Do not allow items to hang over the edge of the rack.
4.
Close the door.
5. Select a timed drying cycle and temperature, or an air cycle
(see following chart). Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic
must be dried on a clothesline or by using the Air Only
temperature setting.
6. You must select a time by pressing MORE TIME or LESS
TIME. Reset time as needed to complete drying. Refer to the
following table.
7. Press (and hold) HOLD TO START button (about 1 second).
NOTE: You must remove rack for normal tumbling. Do not use
automatic cycles with the drying rack.
This chart shows examples of items that can be rack dried and
the suggested cycle, temperature setting and drying time. Actual

My whirlpool AWZ510E washer dryer - the dryer doesn't seem to be working - it goes through the cycle but the clothes are still as wet as before. I am using the same cycle as I always have which used to...

there are 3 reasons for a dryer not doing the job yet running through the motions. 1st, the heat is not being produced and only cool room temp air is circulating. this can be a burned-out electric element or an over-heat sensor, or in0line safety fuse. ( if gas, can be ignitor or gas valve coils).. It could be that the washer is not ringing (spinning) dry the clothes verywell and there is too much moisture stiil in clothes which would double the dry time from 50-60 minutes to 2 hours. 3rd, could be clogged vent line and the hot moist air cannot leave the dryer so the clothes get hot by the moisture stays.

Whirlpool AWZ410 Washer/Dryer Washes But Will Not Dry!

I have the same problem. The half load / drying button is pushed in; the drying time set; I've reduced the load to almost nothing, but it won't dry. I've tried numerous cycles. The clothes spin, but are still damp at the end.

How would I go about checking my lid switch or fixing my clutch, if that's the problem?

Twin thin dryer

I believe that it is the thermostat that is bad if it will not heat. It is the piece that supplys electrical heat to the heat coils. 696818 is the whirlpool part number for the thermostat on my stackable unit and it can be purchased online for 10-15 bucks.

Why wont my machine start drying?

I called Whirlpool on 08706008989. The machine can only dry half a load of washing at a time. At the end of the washing cycle, the Programme dial should be at either the sun or half sun symbol. Remove half the washing, set the drying time via the drying time dial and press the 1/2 Load Dryer button - Voila dry clothes!
