Plug magicjack usb

If you have a magic jack + your best to connect via Ethernet , the reason for this is because you don`t have the delay a computer imposes. the reason your device dos not work on your routers usb port is the port dos not have the driver software or the operating program magic jack uses to interface with a computer and there is no way to to load it up on your router.

It will not work for you, the usb connection is for comunity access to a had drive on your network only ,,,as far as i know.

How to fix ?USB device not recognized? error in windows

Are you getting a “USB device not recognized” error whenever you plug in a USB mouse, keyboard, or other USB device? I love USB and have 5 ports on my computer so that I can connect my mouse, keyboard, camera, phone, and printer to it all at once!
However, last weekend, my computer stopped recognizing my USB devices! The strange thing about it was that the USB ports were not bad because all of my devices were still getting power to them. I could still charge my cell phone without a problem!

So I started with the normal fixing methods, including uninstalling the drivers for my devices and reinstalling them. That didn’t work! Next I tried System Restore thinking that maybe I had installed something and it caused a conflict with the USB system drivers. That didn’t work!
I read online that in order to fix this problem I should go to Device Manager and uninstall all of the devices under USB Controllers. Restarted the computer, reinstalled the USB drivers, but the problem STILL did not go away!
You may also see in Device Manager that the device shows up as an “Unknown Device”. 42b721d.png
So how did I finally fix the problem? Well, apparently it’s a super simple solution! No need to edit the registry, uninstall drivers, or anything of that sort.
Simply UNPLUG YOUR COMPUTER FROM THE POWER SUPPLY. Yes that’s it! Note that this does not mean just turning off your computer because modern computers don’t really turn off when you press the power button as the motherboard still gets power.
First to explain, the motherboard is where all of hardware of the computer is connected to, including the USB ports. Sometimes the motherboard needs to be “rebooted” also because something can go wrong, i.e. all your USB ports suddenly stop working. The small microprocessor on the motherboard will reload the drivers and your USB ports should be back to recognizing all devices!
So first turn off your computer using Shut Down or pressing the power button and then UNPLUG it from the wall outlet. Let it sit for about a minute and then plug it back in.
Hope this helps someone fix that pesky “USB device not recognized” Windows error!

Yes- don't use USB as an extender- Network spec for Cat 6 without a repeater ranges from about 165 feet to 75... You should be able to run the cable straight through.

I've had a Netgear WG111 usb wireless adaptor since 2007. It has suddenly stopped working. My computer cannot connect to the internet/ modem - it says no adaptor detected. Help. Can the adaptor just die?

yes they can and do I personally have had 3 or more just die, especially anything USB, they are real bad for just stopping, It is usually the USB interface and not the actual device that fails. with USB, it is usually a power spike" that kills them.

APC ENS-USB laptop stand missing AC power adapter

please call APC Technical Support at (800) 890-4272 for a replacement.

If it is not a proprietary interface (I can't find any information on this), then you may be able to swap out with a cheap AC adapter from Radio Shack or something like that. From what I've read, however, it appears to be a proprietary interface and you'll have to purchase one from their office.

USB wireless internet adapter disconnecting

Sounds like the usb ports are sharing an I/O channel. So when you unplug one usb device the CPU is being told that the USB port is not being used.....Maybe..... To test this, hardwire into a data cable and plug in different devices, next unplug a devise and see what happens. If you stay connected you may have found your answer. Unfortunately I don’t think a reimage or restore will fix the problem. If you get the same result try a reimage of your OS. Good luck.

Again sound like a mother board issue.

Questions to ask, When did I notice the problem (Maybe able to restore to the point the problem started.) and did I install new software or hardware when this happened?

Good Luck
