My kid change my password and now i cant use it how can i reset it how can i getit to reset my password on ipod thouch

According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the
IPod by doing the following:
Connect your IPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one
IPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the
computer, it will no longer be locked.
If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the
computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to
factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase
all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back
to your iPod.
If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated
with, do this:
1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone.
All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of
your important data.
2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary
computer.
3. Open iTunes and synchronize.
Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if
you forget your combination. If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't
have access to the primary computer, your only option is to restore the
IPod, which will erase all music and data."

My kid locked my ipod touch how do i unlock it

If your by lock, you mean passcode-locked, I know a solution for that but I must inform you firstly that it will erase all data in your iPod touch including the jailbreak, in case it's jailbroken.

Cant unlock my ipod

have you tried the sliding lock button at the top of the unit? If you can see the red indicator it is locked.

if it is locked by the password you will need to connect it to the computed, start iTunes and on the sync page you shoud see a reset button.
Do a reset and resync.

Hope this is of some help.

Hi there. one of the kids has locked my ipod and i dont have a code or pin number to unlock it. Are you able to help please?

If you restore the iPod using iTunes, you should then be able to reload your media and use the iPod as normal.

If you don't want to erase all the media on your ipod, you can try the method posted here:

Unlocking a 30gb ipod

The great thing about unlocking iPods is that it is very easy, and almost never wipes out the data.

To unlock the iPod, simply plug it into a computer with iTunes. The iPod should unlock, or at least display the "Do not disconnect" screen. It will not automatically sync with a foreign (other computer than it was originally synced with) computer without first asking you, and if you click no, the iPod should be unlocked.

If this does not solve the problem, notify me and I will try to find a different method of unlocking the iPod.
