Remove the top, by removing the 3 screws in the rear. The top will slide off toward the back. Next remove the control panel. Remove the 2 screws on each end on top. Remove the detergent drawer. Remove the torx screws behind the detergent drawer. The control panel will now snap off, pulling from the top and lifting up. Once freed, remove the control panel ribbon cable from the side of the main board. Now remove the screws holding the door switch mechanism in place. Remove the spring that holds the outer part of the boot from the front panel. Now remove the 4 quarter inch screws that hold the front panel and door on the front. Now you can install the new boot with ease. Just reverse the process when the boot is on the tub. Make sure to have the mark on the boot ^ lined up with the mark on the tub on top.

Our front load washer is leaking from the door down the front.

The leak is either the door seal of the large circular rubber seal that sit between the drum and the opening.

Water is leaking from the bottom of my washer, it is maytag neptune ,front loading washer

Check the door boot (typically grey rubber bellows looking ring around the door opening that keeps the water in the tub from leaking) for cuts.

Leaking front loader

If your washer has a rubber seal around the inside of the door and it has a little opening where the detergent comes into the washer put your hand inside the rubber piece and feel all the way around and see if you feel any holes or cracks in it and that is where it will leak from.

Kenmore - 43142 front load - leaking

Which hose are we talking about? If you're talking about the small rubber hose at the top center of the door seal, HOW is it leaking? Is there a hole in the hose? Is the door seal itself damaged? Let me know a little more so I can give you the proper advice.

Washer leaking water from underneath

Your leak could be coming from the rubber door seal. Inspect all the way around the rubber seal paying particular attention to the areas behind the rubber seal where it meets the wash tub. They wear with age and can develop small holes. When they start leaking it appears like water coming from under the machine. I hopes this helps.
