Ipod won't turn on!

Step 1: Try charging your iPod via USB to your computer. Wait for a few minutes and see if it is accepting a charge. (You might have forgotten to charge it)
Step 2: After a full charge, try using your iPod. If your iPod dies in less than 2 hours or so, your battery is weakening or is dying out. If this is the issue skip to Step 4
Step 3: If you cannot turn your iPod on even after those steps, then your iPod really is dead. Proceed to Step 4.
Step 4: You can do one of either three options from this point:
  1. If you bought your iPod less than a year ago, the Apple Store might replace your iPod for free on the spot as part of their warranty. OR
  2. Go to the Apple Store and ask for them to repair your iPod for a fee.
  3. Go to the Apple Store with your old iPod, and turn it in when you buy a new one - you will receive a 10% off for a new iPod.

How do i turn on my ipod shuffle?.......and how long do i charge the battery for?... and how do i know my ipod is fully charged?

  • first i will cover turning the unit on. then i will cover how to charge the unit.
-Move the power switch on the top of the iPod Shuffle to the "Normal" or "Shuffle" position.
  • Press the play button on the iPod Shuffle to begin music playback. If the iPod does not begin to play, follow the rest of the instructions.
  • Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of your iPod Shuffle and then connect the other end of the cable to your iPod power adapter.
  • Plug the iPod power adapter into a standard electrical outlet to charge the iPod Shuffle's battery. Try to press the play button again.
  • Connect the iPod Shuffle to your Mac or PC computer using the iPod USB cable. Then, open the iTunes program on the computer and sync your iPod with your music library. If your iPod Shuffle was frozen, it should now turn on.
  • to tell if the ipod shuffle is charging. Eject iPod shuffle in iTunes, but leave it physically connected to the USB port. The front LED should be orange if it's charging (or green if it's fully charged). If it's not charging (such is the case if it's connected to a low-power USB port on a keyboard), you won't see a front LED. If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.

My iPod shuffle will not charge

If iPod shuffle won’t turn on or respond
â If the status light blinks orange when you press a button, the iPod shuffle buttons are
disabled. Press and hold Play/Pause (’) for about three seconds, until the status light
    blinks green.
â Connect iPod shuffle to a high-power USB port on your computer. Your iPod shuffle
battery may need to be recharged.
â Turn iPod shuffle off, wait five seconds, and then turn it on again.
â You may need to restore iPod shuffle software. See “Updating and Restoring
iPod shuffle Software” on page 26.

    Infitek shuffle ipod

    Greetings bernince24,

Generally when an Ipod is charged, it is off and connected to a usb port with your computer. It simply draws power off the computer. It is all pretty intuitive, plug and play. Meaning the once you hook the ipod to whatever charging device you are using, it will charge on it own from there.

    I hope this helps.
